Japanese with high school students

On Monday some Japanese students came to our school for our Japanese lesson.

The first thing they did was they read us two stories, they were short but well written. The first story was  about a girl named Princess Kaguya and the second was called Peach Boy. In both stories the drawings were amazing

Next we got to watch japenese student who was a blackbelt, preform some karate moves which were impressive.

Then we got to do oragami, we made an origami crane and a ninja star. They were both fun and challenging to make.

Trust licence

On the first day of school Amy gave us a big surprise, she told us that our  trust license are all wiped out and we are changing how it works.

This is how it works now

No Mans Land:

This is what everyone is on now we are all allowed to move in LC7 and have to ask one of the LAs  to go to do a breakout space or go to a breakout space with a device and is not allowed to go into LC5.

Supported

You have a certain place to sit and is not allowed in LC5 and can not go into a break space without asking. And go on devices without supervision if you are sitting in the certain place.

Trust licence

You can go anywhere in the school, but you need to ask the teachers you can go to LC5 without supervision and can take a device anywhere.

✎ Project Process

Script↓

Both: Hi Everyone!

Anjani : Welcome to our science   experiment video!!!!!!!

Siobhan: In This video we will be making homemade lava lamps! The concept of a lava lamp is basically taking two ingredients, in this case water and vegetable oil, that aren’t usually supposed to mix and putting them together. these are the ingredients you need for this experiment:

Anjani:  Vegetable oil, water, food coloring, salt and a jar or bottle to put it in, but jars work better.

Siobhan: So here’s the method to do it:
First, pour the Water into the jar/bottle.

Anjani: Pour in some food colouring of your choice
Then  pour a few drops of the  vegetable oil.

Siobhan: Since the oil is sitting on the top, We have to make it move down throughout the lava lamp.

Anjani: Sprinkle some salt onto the mixture and the oil will start to move.

Siobhan: Up and down just like lava. ( SIOBHAN STARTS SHAKING HER HAND WHILE HOLDING THE LAVA LAMP

Both: Bye! Thanks for watching!!
